The Baraati Kurti is named for the guests who arrive dancing in the groom's procession, and it is dressed for the part in chartreuse.
Cut in cotton silk in chartreuse, this is a short kurti in a regular fit, with full sleeves.
Mukaish covers the surface from neckline to hem, embroidered by hand in aqua blue and rose gold. It is the Lucknow technique of setting metal wire into small points of light, and worked all over, it glints with every step.
Triangle gota lace runs along the sleeve hems, the side slit and the hemline, with chartreuse facings and neck piping in the same colour as the body.
Inside, a berry moon patch is piped in black and white tiny checks, a small contrast for the wearer to find.
