Holiday Reading: Paper Planes’ Subscription Stack

We love print.
There, we said it. Yep, we’re a digital-first brand, and yes, this is an online magazine, but heavens there’s nothing that’s comparable to print, beautiful print. Unfortunately, getting our eager mitts on those beautiful magazines and self-published 'zines that we’re always coming across online has been something of a challenge, either hard to source, or impossibly spendy when you do locate them.
Until now.
Nupur Joshi is the founder of Paper Planes, a magazine subscription service that celebrates all those formerly out of reach independent publications. She loves all those paper tomes with arresting imagery, matte and glossy, literary and photo-led, she loves them all. And so independent publications, both local and global, feature in Paper Planes’ subscription stack. From an Australian food and family zine (Lunch Lady) with cheerfully saturated pages of image and text through to the languid minimalism of Cereal, there’s something for everyone. You say design? Dip in to MacGuffin’s anomaly with features on ordinary objects explored through a prism of lenses. Cocktails? Hot Rum Cow will please with an exploration of all things boozy.

Choose one, or pick from their rolling monthly, six-month, or 12-month subscriptions. Better still, go on an adventure with their surprise pack.
