Nicobar is opening a second store in Mumbai and here’s a sneak peek
Nestled in the colonial style heritage villa, expect to be welcomed by earthy Shahabad stone, warm timber, beautiful high ceilings and an eclectic mix of furniture, handmade accessories and artisanal cane work which all lend character and to the label’s laid-back vibe. Spread across a spacious 1200 square feet, the store’s seven rooms span three segments: homeware, travel and fashion.
The décor section mimics a potter’s studio and displays a potter’s shelves stacked with goods. Find cushions and other home accessories that people can mix and match to best suit their personal aesthetic.
In the travellers’ room, there will also be a library brimming with books and a large community table to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee between shopping. Whereas the style room offers a more intimate space where you can take your time deciding what to buy.
Patkar Bungalow, 34 D, Turner Road, Bandra West, Mumbai.
Nicobar’s Bandra outpost opens to public on June 10.
