Hostess Gifts
We met with Punit Jasuja from Second Floor Studio to pull together a list of gifts for your host that are unobtrusive but essential; gifts that can be easily put to work, ideally at the very gathering to which you’ve been invited.
While wine and flowers are great, we’re fans of gifts that can be put to use over and over again, each time reminding your host of just what a fabulous guest you really are.

For the environmentally conscious host, a set of easy-wash napkins and napkin rings. We picked napkin rings from Second Floor Studio (set of six Rs 1020) to go with our own charcoal napkins.
We love a good scented candle, but can’t help but feel a bit uneasy about leaving one unattended at a party. A reed diffuser infuses the room with the same lush scents, and leaves your hosts free to enjoy their evening without worrying about curtains set ablaze. (The Niana reed diffuser is at Second Floor Studio, Rs 3500)

A bottle of wine is nice, but why not go the extra mile, with a container worthy of only the finest liquor?

For a flicker of warmth and a touch of shine at an outdoor do, try a set of sparkly candle votives.
The best things come in small packages; and this tiny mishri jar is the perfect container for the sweetest morsels.
